Elphelt Valentine

BIO:

Elphelt is a kind-hearted lover of nature and animals, she never ignores those who are lonely. She always tries to exemplify the pinnacle of femininity, only to fail over and over again. As a fighter, Elphelt's main weapons are her rifle and shotgun. She also packs a slew of sub-weapons, including: a pistol, a canon, fruit-shaped grenades, and a bottle of champagne, most of which are somehow concealed inside her bouquet. She also utilizes her bouquet and individual flowers as melee weapons, along with her concealed cake-cutting blade. She claims to be the "sister" of Ramlethal Valentine. In terms of design, Elphelt's floral theme and the fact that she uses guns is a homage to the rock band, Guns n Roses.

Elphelt didn't scream "Guilty Gear" when I first looked at her design... but her fighting style pretty much won me over. She's got one of the most interesting 2D playstyles for a gunner I've ever seen in a fighting game. A pistol, shotgun and a rifle? She gives Cable a run for his money (and respectfully borrowed his basic pistol shooting technique). lol. She's also got a few moves inspired by B.B.Hood.

All of her basic attacks are pretty interesting and well-designed, and then there's the whole "aiming" and "shooting" part of her design which is just awesome and very innovative to fighting games. It's also pretty cool how Aksys incorporated "reloading" into her play-style as well. And let's not even talk about her super moves... because holy shit, they're crazy!!! @.@ Her personality has its moments, but she comes off as a bit too "robotic" for my tastes (even if that is supposedly part of her design). The only thing I don't really like about her design is her "name". >_> Weird name. Not a fun one to type. lol. Anyhow, at the end of the day Elphelt definitely stands out as an awesome newcomer in Guilty Gear Xrd.
