Deep within a lush and thriving forest lies a heavily defended research facility. This facility was a research institute named after its director, Bosconovitch. This facility was very important, as it was here that the Mishima Financial Group's most sensitive military equipment was developed. Located at the core of the researcher center was a room that kept its most prized possession: a clear capsule, in which a young girl slept soundly. Her name: Alisa Bosconovitch.

Alisa is an android created by Dr. Bosconovitch. She is able to sprout cybernetic wing-like jets from her back allowing her to briefly fly at great speed during battles, and can also sprout chainsaws from her arms. Unlike most robots, Alisa possesses emotions. She is very kind-hearted, sensitive to others' feelings, and speaks in a polite manner. It appears she does not want to fight and hurt her enemies. She's even aware of family values; as evidenced when she tells Lars to not point a gun to his father, Heihachi.

I have to admit, if I was on the T6 dev-team, a chainsaw-wielding android girl with cybernetic wings wouldn't have been on the blueprint. lol.  Alisa is definitely strange, even considering some of the other "non-human" designs of Tekken. She clearly isn't as "serious" a design as the other martial arts based characters, but she does bring a certain uniqueness to the series - similarly to how Yoshimitsu has over the years. Also, she has quite a lot of personality for a robot.

Since she's a futuristic android and all, her abilities aren't completely unbelievable from a "near future" setting. She has a variety of hard-hitting, innovative, and highly entertaining moves... especially the ones where she uses her own head & limbs weapons. Alisa isn't a design that appeals to everyone (and she isn't supposed to). You can hate on her all you want, but she's undeniably an original female fighting game character. She has some great animations, and under the control of a skilled player, she's awesome to watch. Overlooking her oddly-colored hair, she's also a visually pleasing design. I'm not incredibly fond of her default outfits, but at least she has some epic in-game customizations. Love her or hate her, she's a well thought-out character and adds to Tekken's diverse roster.
