Brocken

BIO:

Brocken is part robot, and fights using his mechanically-extended limbs and missle 'fists'. Since he is billed as coming from Germany, it's possible his gimmick is that of (watered-down) Nazism, but a cyborg in Nazi Germany is clearly an anachronism. His design takes inspiration from Rudol Von Stroheim from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, as well as Brocken Jr. from the anime/manga Kinnikuman.

A typical fighting game enjoyer in the 90s might've told you that Brocken is visually is a rip-off of M. Bison... especially since World Heroes was guilty of blatantly riding the coattails of the SF2 series. However, Brocken mostly takes inspiration from Brocken Jr. of Ultimate Muscle and Stroheim from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Besides, Brocken fights differently enough from M. Bison to not be a total copy-paste nazi-pants wearing jerk... although Brocken himself actually does have a M. Bison Psycho Crusher type move.

Some of Brocken's special moves involving his extending limbs also reminds me of Inspector Gadget... a Nazi Inspector Gadget, with a kind smile. Anyway, I'm not surprised Brocken didn't appear in any future SNK crossover titles! You can blame his low TFG Rating for that. >_>
